steve was in so much pain that we had to call 999 for a ambulance this was only the second time we had to call 999 in all the years steve had been ill he asked me to so I knew he was in alot of pain we spent around 10 days in hospital before I told the nurseing staff I was taking him home because they werent doing anything other to keep the pain under control which I could easy do at home I stood my ground and we brought steve home Iam so glad we did I felt let down with the hospital they had found nothing,while home I had a feeling that steve was really poorly so what ever steve wanted he got we watch dvds ate all his fav meals played music watch his soaps everything was for steve he would be falling asleep while sitting up we went for the hospital opointment on the friday 29th where i sppoke to the drs and told them how dissapointed I had been with the care steve had recived she apoliges gave steve a quick look over and sent us on our way. by sunday the 31st august we were back in hospital I knnew this time that steve was very poorly and I just knew that he wouldnt be comming home again I knew that it was his liver failing I supppose that is all the years of hospitals.the ward we were adimited to was a bone marrow unit I cant go in to detail of the last 6 days of steves live it too painful for me the friday the 5th of sept will live with us for the rest of our lives incraved on our heart forever steve still was fighting I had to tell him it was ok and to stop fighting and that I loved him very much and that freedie mercury was wating for him. early on that morning steve last words to me was that he loved me always.he died peacefully at 11.55 strange as it was that was freedie mercury birthday .steve died of liver failure and later on we got results from a bone marrow test he had informing us one of the tumours he had had for years had turn cancerous a rare type which there isnt any cure for.
